Condor

Condor is an AI-powered energy management platform built to help large electricity consumers control costs, reduce risk, and make smarter energy decisions. The platform connects consumption data, market prices, and energy contracts into one intelligent system that gives companies a clear view of their energy exposure. The product experience focuses on transforming complex energy data into actionable insights. Through real-time dashboards, forecasting tools, and automated hedging strategies, Condor helps operators and finance teams monitor usage, manage procurement, and optimize long-term energy investments.

Overview

Energy has become one of the largest operational costs for industrial companies, retailers, and data centers. Yet most organizations still manage energy procurement and consumption through fragmented spreadsheets and disconnected tools. Condor set out to build a next-generation energy operating system that brings consumption data, market signals, and procurement strategies into a single platform. The goal was to create a clear, actionable interface that allows businesses to understand their energy exposure and make informed decisions in real time.

Problem Statement

Managing electricity procurement is complex and volatile. Companies often struggle to understand how energy markets affect their costs and where they can optimize consumption. Key challenges identified: • Lack of visibility — companies cannot easily track consumption, contracts, and market prices in one place • Price volatility — electricity prices fluctuate rapidly, exposing companies to financial risk • Data fragmentation — energy data comes from meters, suppliers, and market feeds with no unified interface • Decision complexity — procurement, hedging, and investment decisions require deep expertise and analysis

Role

At Watermelon Studio, we worked on designing the product experience to simplify complex energy data and make the platform accessible for operators and finance teams. Energy data visualization We designed dashboards that transform raw consumption and pricing data into clear visual insights, allowing users to monitor energy performance across multiple sites. Forecasting and decision support We structured interfaces that present forecasts, risk indicators, and procurement insights in a way that supports faster and more confident decision-making. Simplified enterprise interface Energy platforms are typically dense and technical. We focused on creating a clean, structured interface that reduces cognitive load while still supporting complex energy analytics.

Tech Stack

Figma, React

Outcome

The redesigned product experience made complex energy management significantly easier to understand and operate. Teams could monitor consumption, track market exposure, and evaluate procurement strategies through a single clear interface. By turning fragmented energy data into actionable insights, the platform helps companies take control of their energy strategy and reduce operational risk.
